Investment seminar looks ahead to 2020

25th February 2020

The latest Acuitus/MSCI Investment seminar looked at commercial property performance in 2019, and what the first round of 2020 auctions have indicated about market conditions.

MSCI’s Luke Pakes reported that with yields softening generally across the commercial sectors, the emphasis was firmly on income and how to drive it. He noted that the top performing investment vehicles last year were those which focused on assets providing long-term income.

Stuart Buchanan of Acuitus Finance told the c.100 delegates that there had been a notable shift in sentiment among lenders since the General Election, and that the rates for long-term fixed rate financing were now particularly attractive.
