Richard Auterac
Chairman and Auctioneer
Richard Auterac is probably the best-known practitioner and
commentator in the UK commercial property auction market. Since he
first took the rostrum he has overseen the sale of more than £5bn
of assets.
With more than 30 years' experience, he has advised leading
financial institutions, major property companies, public
authorities, private investors and a huge variety of other clients
in all property sectors throughout the UK.
He led the Auction business of Jones Lang LaSalle, one of the
world's leading real estate advisory firms, until 2010 and is the
longest serving auctioneer in its 230 year history.
His commitment to enhancing commercial property auction service
was the impetus to creating Acuitus and he remains passionate about
the auction marketplace and the key role it can play in the
investment sector.
In his role as Chairman of the Real Estate Auction Group of RICS
he leads the property auction industry in adopting the highest
ethical and professional standards
